Ima let you in on a secret of someone whose been to body building conventions, olympia weekends, etc.

90% of big crazy weights you see lifted on social media, are fake weights.

Personally we knew this back in like 2013 or whenever videos on ig came out and some guy got famous lifting heavy ass weight (brad castleberry) , issue is , my brother knew this guy prior from football and he was weak as hell in football, he also wasnt nothing crazy in the gym.

Dude went from repping 315 a few times (3-5 reps at best) in real life to benching like 700 on the gram :mjlol:

Fake as fukk
I was gonna say. He's doing Ronnie Coleman weight but on 1 leg

Definitely more than just exceptions. There's literally dozens of guys I can post right now who are legit and compete in regulated competitions/federations (both tested and untested).
me 2... but theyre usually 6'5 300+ pounds, similar builds to the mountain just maybe shorter

these dudes on instagram be 160 pounds talking about squatting/deadlifting 700 lbs and shyt man get that shyt outta here or they are bradley martin build, way too low of body fat % to benching 650 pounds :camby:

I work in nightlife, for over a decade now, you know how many security ive hear say they bench 500-600, squat 700-800, etc but the moment you say aight lets hit a gym, its 100% an excuse :mjlol:

again, as someone thats been to olympia/body building conventions multiple times, I dont believe shyt unless I see it with my own eyes

why don't dudes lose all creditability? I mean these are usually flimed in public gyms someone should call them out on it.

And if competitions are fake then that would dead most sponsorship oppertunites.

I'm not questioning you but if you're saying that it's all a scam that's 100 times worse than all the steriod scandals.

This dude dont even got a spotter for 530 lbs one leg squat and outside the support bars :heh:

I never said competition was fake. Those guys are beasts, insanely large people

Not usually low body fat %. Thats why Rons 800 lb deadlift is so impressive. Not that others havnt deadlifted 800 lbs, but to do that being that cut is insane.
