Awful. Horrible that the family has to go through this because of some dumbass drunk driver.
They were there to help another family member too…out there trying to do a good thing and this fukking dumbass causes a tragedy.

Life in prison should be the sentence. Keep this fukker away from society.

so this the same one who a federal judge said was running a "drug emporium" but since he is a Eagle season ticket holder let him off with probation?
Yes

Legal trouble

In 2007, Britt was sentenced to 8 to 23 months in jail alongside his brother Garrett for running a "drug emporium" from their home.[4]

Reid was involved in a road rage incident in 2007 where he pointed a gun at another man's face. A lawsuit was eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed sum in 2014.[5]

Reid was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on February 4, 2021 that injured two young children

This some sad shyt. I feel so bad for the girl.

Why couldn't Reid's son just called uber or hire someone he knows to drive for him since he likes to drink? Why folks gotta put themselves and others at risk when he had the means to hire a driver. U would think him being older that he would have some decency and common sense.

shyt makes my blood boil every time I read this story.

the irony of him almost killing a little girl outside of ChiefsHQ, a place he had 0 busienss getting access to if his dad wasn't the coach.

Place has seen some things before. This isn't a player committing that so they can't sweep it under the rug :sas2:

This is sad.

What's crazy is that the media isn't reporting this like they should and done in the past. Then again, I do want the family to have to peace to focus on the well-being of their daughter, but if this dude was had a different complexion that would've been out the window.

The league and the media are hypocrites because he should've never had a job in the first place considering his past.

5 is so young, man. fukk this dude. :snoop:
