There's this growing narrative that "All of the Black elite Boxers are runners" that has been growing the past 5 years. shyt is annoying and odd. And you got weirdo Showbiz the Adult fanning the flames of the narratives, along with non-black media reporters fanning the flames with criticisms of Shakur, Hitchens, Haney, etc etc. It's like they get angry when Black fighters show elite skill and intelligence

That's why when I see people (especially Black people) criticizing these elite Boxers, you are only perpetuating the racist talking points

I feel that part, about the narrative against black fighters. But that doesn't mean they are above criticism. My issue is moreso with how they move outside the ring than it is in their performance inside it. And that's a small reflection on the overall issues with the general business of boxing. They can't get out of their own way.

I don't think Hitchins is some bum. Good tools are there. But I can't just ignore the lackluster ass performances I've seen from him leading up to this fight either. Maybe this is the start of a run off consistency and dominance that summer people expect from him. I'm here for it if that's the case. I just need to see it though. I'm not sold yet off a win against an Aussie punching bag.

Fair enough but do you know more good/great fighters toiled in mediocrity before becoming great. Winky is a HOFer, Vargas is not. Boxing is about timing more than any other sport. Hitchins would’ve been champ years ago if Floyd would not have had him tucked away.
