If I remember correctly Norman Sr tried to make it sound like it was the worst offer in the history of offers. The Bozy came out and stated what the offer really was. Even though the offer was still bad, it wasn't as bad as Norman Sr made it seem.

And this coming off of the Chukhadzhian, where Boots didn't look his best, I think...

Romero is a hot name right now and 147 seems to be ideal for him. That would be a good ass fight.

Norman Fam said they just wanted to take home 1M After Taxes (so sounds like they wanted 2MS and change), then when it was crunch time they were like they will take the Boots fight as is in Vegas OR give them 2-300k More and they will come to Philly.

The "hypocrisy" is Matchroom did more than that to get the Stanonius fight done, and if we being real Stan is not a name and the Norman vs Boots fight would have generated more money just from the press run and two black champs lol.

That being said Norman Jr is young as fukk, if he can Undisputed 147 in the next 2 yrs, this sets up a HUGE showdown if Boots takes care of business at 154.

Yeah Rolly vs Norman Jr is prob his most dangerous fight, unless Devin gets that WBC.

It was the fighting in Philly that fukked everything up. I'm starting to remember now. Ultimately it was bad business on both sides.

yeah, if we being real neither big enough for a Vegas fight yet, so Philly was fine (ATL is a shaky market as Norman is not a name, and I went to when Shakur fought in ATL and it was empty). So it was a huge fumble imo on Boots side if 200k is where they fumbled especially if Norman was gonna be easy work for him. Norman Sr was right in saying that they aint tripping as Jr is young so more fights just means he keeps getting better and making his name.

Like I said if he can undisputed 147 they can line up a big fight with boots at 154. I saw Norman Jr in person and while I`m a tall dude, he doesn't look big but he is a lil stocky like a DB, but boots looks big as shyt lol

Ennis is "running" up to an infinitely tougher division. Makes sense :mjlol:

Great KO by Norman though. Sasaki was just too gungho from the start. Throwing punches completely out of range and getting put on his ass for it. Was only a matter of time.

I`m hoping Norman Jr can Undisputed lol Gotta support the hometown.

I think the "Legend" of boots comes full force at 154. Because nobody ducking there and nikkas throwing fire so this will be when Boots can show his levels.

This is why I told @patscorpio that this dude is dangerous & could get Boots leaky defense having ass outta there lol

People have been saying Norman Jrl. has heavy hands, and the "issue" from the Boots Sparring stories is more so Norman Jr was just young/green and outclassed by an athletic nikka who has been groomed to box since birth lol

he said his doctors said he was not performing at his best physically having to cut so much.

Anytime he was asked about moving up, he would always say that he was concerned about being undisputed. I always have him props for that even though he probably knew, a year ago, his body couldn't handle 147 anymore.

That undisputed shyt doesn't matter to me, I feel it is a Spence situation where you young, you need to let your body grow, Get a Belt and at best unify then move the fukk up and keep going lol. I rather be Multi Division + Multi Unified then waste 12 yrs to undisputed and nobody cares.

If you ask me Boots shouldn't even focus on Undisputed at 154, get a belt and unify then off to 160 (this should be 3-4 fights worth of work. With 154 being so loaded that would yield a great blend of just good ass fights for legacy + the resume building of getting belts.

If Boots can get Lubin/Bak winner for IBF + Mell Charlo/Fundora/Tim + Virgil (some combo of the last 2 fights would likely be a WBC unification) that would be an amazing and concentrated run.

Let's reflect on the Boots and Bozzy "stop doing that dumb shyt, get him outta there" Ennis fukkery

1. Fans have been telling Boots for 2 years now to go to 154 already. So can't blame us. It was THEIR TEAM that insisted on "unfinished business" and that they wanted to get as many titles as possible at 147 and possibly undisputed
2. Looks so-so against Karen, then says he wants to go to 154
3. Offer on the table to fight Vergil Ortiz at 154, then DUCKED to say he still wants to be at 147
4. Did not budge on giving more money to Norman Jr and pretended "Norman Jr priced himself out" and that the fight has to be in Philly
5. Then in his very next fight against another Belt holder, he gives them MORE money than what Norman Jr wanted, and more money than what Boots got, and the fight was outside of Philly :mjlol:

6. Also had Tim Tszyu on the table at 154 a year ago, ducked that, which turned into the Tszyu vs Fundora fight we saw
7. Now decides to move up to 154
8. So he ended up "staying at 147 for unfinished business" for 2-3 years just to fight Karen and Stanionis :dead:

With some fighters, it's obvious when the promo companies are doing them dirty. Ennis team has done bad business whether it was with Showtime or with Matchroom.
