Even if we ignore the fact that Morocco is on another continent; the Moroccan monetary, cultural、 and legal systems are completely incompatible.

They were a French colony and for centuries were basically a mandatory port at the end of the Silk Road trading routes. Most locals speak 4 to 5 languages, 2 of them being European (Spanish & French).
