My NY people see those Africans pushing little white babies in strollers all the time, and my mother has a friend who takes care of an Arabic couple's kids, and the Nanny see those kids more than the actual parents do.

So...what say you?

nah, they will know the nanny more than the parents, parents would just essentially be there for mentorship, networking, landlord/roommate, no real love there.

The whole aspect of childcare is very weird. Why would you want a stranger to raise your seed?

Then again I think the entire world is insane. Driven by greed, ignorance and and overwhelming sense that everything they think is correct so no point questioning what was poured into their heads.

Dumbest thing ever. If I got the bag like that, my kids are being raised by their mother and me.

What's the point having the bag and living the family life of a single mother working two jobs?

If I have a kid I’m planning to get an nanny but they won’t be raising my child they would just be helping out with mundane daily tasks.

I’m definitely getting nannies if I have kids. It’s pretty normal among the people I know .

It makes vacations easier and more enjoyable too when the nanny comes along

We have a nanny. I've trusted her with our girls for four years and counting. Always has our kids home for school and fed. Keeps the house up, though my wife makes an effort to clean on weekends here and there out of pride. She takes our oldest to ballet & is invaluable during summer vacation. I damn near consider her family.

Absolutely, I’d want a person that speaks English and another language.
This 100%.

Don't want the nanny "raising" my kids but having them around to teach different languages is valuable. African nanny will have them speaking 5 languages and you already know they ain't with the bullshyt. Kids be getting straight A's tryna go Harvard at 15 :russ:

Absolutely not. Growing up my dad wouldn't even allow our grandparents or aunts to babysit us. He said he only wanted him and my mom to have influence on how we were raised and I'm gonna continue that tradition.

My dad had a rule about not feeding any of his kids pork and one time for Thanksgiving our grandma gave us ham (I was probably 4 or 5). That was the last time we had Thanksgiving at a family members house. Either everyone came to our house, or there was no Thanksgiving
