6 Figure forum...but is anybody in sales on here?

I find it odd this is a money forum...and nobody is talking about sales.
Why get certs and work years to make it to 6 figure land...when you can get a sales job and make multiple 6 figures almost overnight?


The money salesmen make is sick...
...the only problem is that you need a lot of guts to do it.
You cant just show up to work everyday and coast...you gotta hustle.

shyt doesnt even have to be anything complicated.

Construction sales...home repair sales, cable, etc....
Im talking jobs you can walk right into.

I dont think a lot of black folks know these opportunities are out there.

I'm looking at a technical sales role next year. It will be an easy transition because I'm basically doing it now in service delivery, even filling in for some of those clown when they go MIA :hhh:. It has me looking good tho. :blessed:

When I used to Audit Payrolls in Public Accounting, it was quite obvious that the people in Sales made the most money at every Company that I audited.

However, there is a reason why there people don't go into sales. Sales requires the gift of gab and a likeable personality, which is something that is hard to teach and harder to develop. You either have the personality for it or you don't.

Other things that I have noticed is that the Guys in sales always look sharp, and the women are, 9 times of 10, WAY better looking than women in the other departments including HR.

only folks that are built for sales can excel in it. and most people don't have the skill to sell to others.

as well they should. they are directly responsible for generating revenue for the company.

I think most people can do it...if they really want to.

I think the idea of the fast talking salesman is an old stereotype.
Sales is mostly about listening and finding the pain points of your client.

The hard part is dealing with all the rejection.
The biggest part of sales is constantly getting shytted on by people.
Day after day...its non stop.

Thats the real reason sales people make so much. They are in the front lines of the bullshyt.
