CongratsI should've played the lotto last week. Gig #1 picked up my contract and made me a full time employee.
Gig #2 starts in 2 weeks. I think im going to waive health insurance for the rest of the year from both until 2021 around and maximize Q4 earnings. I should be straight for 60 or so days.
Gong to use this weekend to paint this office space and bring in new furniture for my 2 desk setup.

. I'm focusing on my own business but want to keep my day time job to keep my lights on hate the job but at least there is 0 micro management so these past days i've been doing my own business stuff when i have downtime. Does anyone have any certs they recommend to get expect for project management certs? my job used to be pretty good with paying for certs and training, i got lazy and should have got agile project management cert before this corona stuff popped off they have pretty much cut training costs but still want to to finesse a cert of two before i eventually leave this job

I don't want to do to the same thing I'm doing now though. Also, the only possible IT jobs that might open up later (maybe) are more advanced.
So I've been lurking the internal job board and I've begun reaching out to managers and people in the types of roles I'm interested in. I'm exploring going into technical writing. I was a good writer in college, but that was a long time ago.
