Ive worked at plenty of schools that called the cops on kids.

I had one girl on my caseload about the same age as this girl.

She used to go off just like that at least once a week.

Eventually the school got tired of dealing with her and called the police.

They didn’t arrest her but they put her in the car and took her home.

Arresting a 6-year old is obviously ridiculous.

But what should the recourse be for a child that's violent with adults?

Back in the day, you used to just hit them back. paddling was still acceptable when i was in school actually and i'm only 34.

I had a coach whack me upside the head for bullying another teammate once.

No six year old child should be handcuffed and arrested, be put in a police car and taken to a detention center.
