6-year-old begs for help during ARREST at Florida school

I am an old head so I cant believe some of the comments in here. let me start by saying the arrest was unnecessary, calling the cops was not. this shyt was not going on in my era. times are different now. back then, you would get escorted to the principal's office and a lot of the time the VP would come and get our ass. you try and restrain a child and you are going to have all kinds of shyt coming at you. and the parents gonna come for your head first. yall are in shock because its the police. I am not agreeing with it but I dont know how much more you can do in the situation because its just different now. they didnt need to call the cops in my day. and what elementary schools have security like that? my children's school never had that. my son was shivering in fear because he thought I was going to whip him because he defended himself and got in a fight on the bus. it would never cross my children's minds to put hands on an adult, because seriously, that can get you killed.

folks blinded by race relations to notice that kids will be bad and unless they fear reprisal they will solely have the choice on whether to treat people well or poorly

too many folks assume kids treat other kids (or adults) well in 2020. Internet making it easy to see imo. All sort of bad ass kids were in my schools growing up but they had corperal punishment. As a kid seeing other kid yoked up id rather that outcome than kids governing themselves which from the outside looking in, appears to be what we are on the verge on because of soft parenting and outraged non-parents with agendas

Back in the day, you used to just hit them back. paddling was still acceptable when i was in school actually and i'm only 34.

I had a coach whack me upside the head for bullying another teammate once.

Nowadays people are like whenever they hear that, meanwhile they calling the cops and having them locked up for the same shyt. as if that is better alternative.

breh.....teachers used to fukk students up back in the day. if there is a thread on it I can contribute plenty of stories. I seen kids heads get slammed on desks, punched in the chest, shook like ragdolls, etc...and a lot of times they were WRONG! breh, I had a teacher grab me by my coat and shake the shyt outta me because my bag was in the isle and she didnt see it and tripped over it.

that aint shyt, in my older brothers day it was worse. one of their teachers suplexed a dude and his eyes rolled in the back of his head! and my brothers joke about that shyt to this day and think its some of the funniest shyt in the world.

If I was a teacher, I’m calling the cops too. In this day and age, you might get sued or end up losing your job if you try to restrain them. Everyone looking at it from the kids view but how about the teachers? Now, it’d be different if I was a teacher in a different country.

If a child is wildin out you call security. If your school doesnt have security (which the charter school most likely didn't) you call the police.

The police officer is a dikkhead who should've used better judgement. He could of easily talked the six year old into just sitting in a corner until parents came even elementary schoolers know not to fukk with the police. Zip ties they booked and processed her .
