I took in my twin cousins when they was 11 in 2007(till they graduated) and there are some posts on this forum where I express that and how much I appreciated the outside help I got from family and how in the beginning I felt like a cool ass babysitter to a degree... In a school setting the rules are strict

A teacher jumping in between and grabbing a kid can get u fired quick, and that shyts gonna be on your record with hardly any context so getting another job may be an issue especially if that kid is salty and lies about how aggressive you were with them. The rules make it not worth the risk to be honest

Usually administrators can jump in and grab a kid, take em to their office or ISS until a parent is called and the kid is taken home. They should be the ones on blast right now

Real police have no business being at an elementary school unless a shooter is in the area imo
