I'm going by sources. Where are your sources that white women are having more abortions? Post them and prove me wrong and I'll gladly shut the fukk up. I want to be proven wrong.
As for trying to fix the issue?
-Waiting till marriage for kids like whites and Asians. BC, Plan B, Condoms, Pullout, all have a 99% effective rate.
-Practicing abstinence
-Black fathers staying in the household.
I never said that WW are having more abortions. I said I wanted to understand your intention. Because it’s obvious you see white women as a model bw should follow, yet we both know that issues are always compounded by race—and that many of the issues that bw are challenged with are occurring in a much lesser degree in a Ww.
The pull out method and condoms do not have a 99% rate of effectiveness.
I actually spoke to why bw are hesitant when it comes to birth control pills. There are now male birth control pills, are more bm like yourself willing to take them, since bw don’t want to deal with the horrible side effects of birth control pills? What about vasectomies?
Practicing abstinence is not something WW and Asian women are doing in high numbers. Ridiculous standpoint anyway because you know damn well that young people are having sex and that won’t stop.
I do agree with your last point, and think that if more bw were sleeping with/ getting pregnant in stable situations they would be less likely to seek abortions. But there’s not much you and I can do to enforce women to do any of the solutions you suggest.
We’ve already done abstinence only education, and studies show that it doesn’t work. There are planned parent hoods and discount clinics where women can get birth control in poorer areas too. Condoms aren’t expensive. These solutions have been there and always get pushed out in these conversations. You just aren’t saying anything new.
And they make sense but they are not what’s happening. So what now?
I think examining why they’re not happening and and resolving the gaps in our society that lead black women to seek abortions in the first place and creating structures and support to these women, mothers, and children once they leave the womb, is probably the one thing that I notice people just don’t want to really talk about or do anything about. yet it’s probably the biggest solution to the issue that would make a difference.
I also notice that there’s emphasis on why women need to do xyz to avoid pregnancy… as if the men they have sex with don’t have a role too. These men are also being just as irresponsible. But when these same women take accountability for being irresponsible with their wombs by getting abortions— people still get angry with those women.
In many cases the men are wanting the women to get the abortions too, because they ain’t trying to be a father either.
