$600k to live on the set of Boyz in the Hood?
It was a desired area to live in the 50s and 60s. Then blacks stayed moving in and the whites moved out and took their tax base with them. Factories in the area started to close and lay ppl off so now there weren't enough good paying jobs. Then the renter class moved in and brought the "element" along with them. The California sunshine is all those lawns need to stay green almost year round. Those gang members are sleep during the day but when the sun goes down....always surprised Compton was so dangerous. It looks nice. Front yards backyards, space. What’s the deal?

It's crazy what these prices looking like.. I was touring multi families in overtown, lil Haiti and lil Havana and these Cali investors were gutting apts that were renting for 1k and plan on renting them for 1,800 for 1 bed rooms.. these are the floors in the city so imagine.. it's about to get UGLYYY if things don't change![]()
