Only way I could do something like this is if I'm only using it to sleep, like if I live in Philly but work in NYC so I rent this to stay on nights I don't want to make the super commute

Probably sharing a bathroom with a dozen other people on the floor :sadcam:
I stayed at a chick apartment in NYC who had that sort of bathroom and the bathroom was in an unheated hallway.
taking a shyt in winter at midnight was hell

People that live in "apartments" like this typically don't have the type of jobs that pay them enough to save

$650/month rent is 2003 money. Current minimum wage in New York is $17/hr.
