If this is true, then this proves that New York rap and NY beef is so corny. Even if it isn’t true, the concept of shooting at a concert, especially a memorial concert, is even more corny

A vicious brawl in the middle of a tribute concert sent fans flying out of The New York Expo Center in the Bronx Thursday.

Fans packed into the venue took off in a panicked stampede when a fight broke out during Yams Day — an annual event to honor the memory of performer A$AP Yams, who died of an overdose in 2015.

Witnesses said they heard shouting and chairs being thrown — then a series of distinctive bangs that sounded like gunshots.

“It was super packed and we couldn’t tell what was happening,” said Anthony Bell, 23, from Brooklyn.

“You could hear there was a fight, and it definitely sounded like there were gunshots.”

The chaos erupted about two hours into the concert, around 10:30 p.m., as A$AP Rocky was on the stage, Bell said.

“Everybody started running, and then it calmed down and there was a little pause, but then you could hear chairs being thrown again and I heard that gunshot sound again, so I was headed for the door,” he said.

A DJ yelled to the crowd that the show was over and urged fans to get to the exit.

The NYPD confirmed there had been a "crowd control situation" at the Port Morris venue.

Police had no reports of gunshots, however.

The crowd dispersed on its own after the concert’s abrupt end, the cops said.

Video captured by attendees inside show a violent melee between groups of young men — with some of the combatants apparently wielding bats and long pieces of wood or metal.

The annual “Yams Day” concert began in 2016.

It was created by A$AP Bari and A$AP Illz, who in 2006 co-founded the Harlem hip-hop collective known as A$AP Mob along with Stephen (A$AP Yams) Rodriguez.

The collective, all native New Yorkers, gained international acclaim and solo record deals soon followed, with members A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg finding breakout success.

Thursday's concert also featured Tekashi69, who performed just before chaos broke out.

He made sure his fans knew he was okay by sharing on social media that he was “not shot” and in a safe place.

Come on man :snoop:
