just finished this jawn...i have to say it was better than the breakfast interview because 69 was able to actually have a conversation and not be interrogated....homie dropped some jewels too...interviewer wasn't the best but he held it down and you can tell they are coo with eachother outside of this...69 was really comfortable which is probably why jack thriller wasn't on this one...it's all about making the subject comfortable

The only thing is thisis50 needs better production and studio space....got cats walking in and out of the room , in front of the camera......they had boom mic instead of lapel mics so it ruins the sound quality.....and the production was terrible...shakey camera, bad transitions and at one point it goes completely blank.......only saying this cause this is what i do i do interviews and content this is rookie shyt they have a budget...this was the only negative but overall it was a very dope interview....

Can you breakdown the platform part?

no doubt....so basically TV and Radio is a dying media but they have to ingrain in people that they are still needed.....

69 was saying he knows they are around and he respects them but unlike many other artists he understands he doesn't need them. He mastered the internet so he can just break out his phone and send out a message that is direct to his consumers rather than relaying on a platform to do it for him.

So when he goes on a platform like Thisis50 it isn't cause he needs to it's more like ok lets work together to make this content pop......he insinuated that the breakfast club is arogant in their waves and believe he needed to be up there when in fact it was the opposite......and he did it more as a acknowledgement respect. He admited that he fukks with them and they are a big platform but for what he does he doesn't need them....

It's true the breakfast club is sitting at around 7 million views right? That's just the breakfast club...now thing about "earned shares" this is when you can incorporate the #'s of impression by it being shared and people covering it.

so 7 million breakfast club + the millions that shared it....
then alllll the reaction videos of bloggers
the IG blog pages like shaderoom
Then the podcasts covering it like Joe Budden and Brillient Idiots..every hip hop podcast talked about it...

He doing all this from an IG page homie doesn't even have a youtube channel or soundcloud he made alll this happen starting from an IG page he even said at the end that there are rappers with 100 followers more talented than he is but they dont have the savvyness and work ethic

So this is essentially the blueprint for new artists. So why aren't more doing this?

This isn't just the blue print for artist this is the blue print for commerce! For all businesses....generate your own following and you dictate your destiny....for busineses

You used to have to be in the Phonenbook they are gone
You had to be on the radio then tv came
you had to be on tv then internet came
you needed a website then social media came..

He just understand shyts evolving little home is smart more artists don't do it because they are trying to catch the attention of the labels and doing shyt to get put on and relying on traditional A&R's etc.

Instead they need to focus on the fans and increasing followers and the labels will have no choice but to knock on their door and slide into their dms requestions meetings....traditional a&r is dead the bloggers like AK are the new a&r's they are scouting the talent via followers and all the hottest talent are coming to them instead of seeking them out and they are the new gatekeepers and saying who's hot....

AK is on something major with Twitch too but that's a whole other topic

And is he promoting a song/album? Or brand? Tour?

How is he managing and engaging his social impressions?

Looking at the success he's had with singles, why bother to put out a full length album?

Somebody should tell him that the show is ThisIs50, not ThisIs69. I had to cut it off like he kept cutting dude off because that shyt is annoying. And he need to quit talking about numbers all the time & let them speak for themselves because as soon as his momentum start to tank, all he'll be able to do is dwell on the past.

If his numbers fall off so be it. He himself said that he knows rappers with small numbers that are more skilled than him. He just works harder.
