Record labels get paid out just a little over $0.005 of a cent for each stream. The money is still in albums. Which is why Taylor Swift keeps her albums off of streaming services until sales die down.
If you’re advancing nikkas $750,000. And their number 1 hit on Spotify has only brought in $18,000 as of December......and that was only after some heavy buffoonery and negative PR. Someone needs to be fired ASAP!!!! shyt ain’t adding up!
