durk, blueface, lil tjay, and vlad in the comments

Nas been past his prime for about a decade or so and he comes from an entirely different era that was close to 30 years ago. How long has drake been popular? 12 years or so? We will return to this topic in 17-18 more years when he reaches the 30 year mark.
very few rappers hold that kind of longevity for a long time in terms of sales especially when the new era is wayyyyyyyy beyond their time.
nas doesn’t fit in with 89% of what’s popping on the charts right now.. atleast someone like Jay-z always kept up with the times and what was hot, which is why the “dikk riding fakkit” line still gets used against him till this day. Nas, not so much

Dude acted like he didn’t need the labels. You think drake got on every playlist on his drop date cause they love him?
Better pay up

I am not talking about album sales, I am talking about safety of his life lol. He made more enemies when he should have stayed low

Something in his contract stipulates that he has to have a certain amount of top 5 or number 1 records. Cause he's stressing too much bout numbers.
24 Hour Security aint cheap![]()
None of the Chicago trolling he did to sell this album workedhe’s stressing because once those numbers go away..he basically loses anything he had going for him..other wise those numbers would keep him in the lil t jay, Durk , world of relevance
That company he allegedly got 5 million to perform from ..all of a sudden doesn’t exist anymore lol
Ehhh not surprised
they black balled the hell out of him
If you go numbers to numbers in comparable years...drake is at nas streets disciple part of his career
At that point in time were you saying “let’s see if nas sticks around another 10 years before we really compare him to what Rakim was doing In 89”...no you were already talking about he’s a legacy act, how much he means to the game, he can retire now etc
but it’s drake..so logic goes out the window to you golden era stubborn nikkas
Street disciple was 16 years ago. Nas was still a platinum selling rapper at that point. In 16 years will drake still be doing major numbers with the hottest out in 2036? We don’t know yet but history tells us it’s likely he won’t. No rapper that premiered in the 90s is doing those kind of numbers except Eminem and maybeeee Jay-z.
We talking about sales nikka. Nas first album was 26 years ago. Drake first album was 2010. 26 years from from 2010(drakes first album) do you believe he will still be doing big numbers??
