Not really. Suggests massive streams for a couple days, then people completely moved on. Which is the story of his entire career. People tune in and then move on. This works for music videos where you can say "hey this has x views, it's a huge success." But with an album you need to maintain your streams for a week. The album is probably trash and it looks like Apple/Spotify/etc aren't advertising the album at all. Mix all that together and you get this.

In pre-trial days he would have had an interview on Breakfast Club, MTV would be talking to him, etc. This time it's crickets. He's being frozen out, thank god. None of this is going to stop his next youtube video from having crazy view numbers but still...the circus is ending.

This shyt really is playing out like a movie. In 2018, he literally was the most talked about rapper for better or for worse. Was caught up in so much street shyt you can’t even count. And at the same time he had records charting.

Then he gets locked up, snitches on ALL his crew PUBLICLY. Then a pandemic happens, gets out early, and comes back with a vengeance. And he EMBRACES that he snitched and he thinks that his rap career will still be intact.

Gets a number 1 record and it looks promising. However the very next week it has the biggest drop off in Billboard history.


Continues to instigate beef with other rappers that aren’t “selling” like him.

But over time, the trolling stops working. Folks just start ignoring him. Platforms don’t want to interview him. Other artist don’t want to work with him. Drops another record and it flops.

Dropped an album the same day another prolific artist drops and damn near EVERYBODY ignores him. Streaming platforms don’t even bother to put his album in the “new release” section.

THEN when it looks like he is projected to go number 1. His LAST ditch effort of being relevant, the machine LOWERS his numbers and make sure he doesn’t sell as much as the other artists he disses you can’t make this up

And since the pandemic is going on he can’t tour. Hell he has to travel with security 24/7 cause he is a marked man. But over time that money is gonna run out and he can’t pay them all forever.

His family disowns him, his baby mama hates him, his old gang wants him dead, and the industry damn near want to cut ties with him.

The universe is handling Daniel Hernandez something serious.

It's not that complicated. 1500 streams is a sale. $10 or whatever purchase from itunes is a sale. The sales in terms of buildboard weekly hot 200 album sales chart art the same as going gold or platinum. Going gold or platinum is the RIAA a completely different entity from billboard.

Nicki is coming out of this one of the biggest losers IMO. She hitched her wagon to him again and second time wasn't the charm. The song quickly died a quick death and she looks like the biggest goofy for being the only reputable artist willing to work with him
