I just saw he had to settle for a shade room interview with some random chick :russ:

the views ain’t movin the needle much so far (was uploaded to YouTube about 4 hrs ago)

I listened to the interview while multitasking, and it was actually very interesting. He broke down the reason why he cooperated which included being kidnapped and attacked because he sided with his manager who was one half of the gang, his manager engaging in sexual relations with his then girlfriend, and also finding out the manager was stealing from him.

In my opinion this serves as a cautionary tale of how easy it is to be swept up in fame, and not see the people who you thought had your back actually sticking knives into it.

I am not going to judge Tekashi for what he did, and I understand the “street code”, however it’s all fun and games until it actually happens to you. It would be interesting to hear if other people would sacrifice their life for people who were disloyal.

Anyway I like to think of myself as a positive person, so I really do hope that everything works out for Tekashi because when you take away the bravado, the multicolored hair and all the “trolling” what I see, and I could be wrong is a vulnerable, hurt, misguided (albeit smart) young man who unfortunately surrounded himself with people who didn’t have his best interest at heart, and this resulted in unfortunate circumstances.

You either don't know his history or are an undercover stan.
He was using the gang to act like he was the hardest man around. He willingly put himself in that world.

You probably know more than me but the little I do know, I stated that he surrounded himself with people that didn’t have his best interest at heart. However that doesn’t negate the fact that I see a misguided vulnerable hurt young man who was in way over his head. It’s just a sad situation all around.

No, I won’t be doing that, and I said what I said.

Im sorry that it disappoints you that I can’t hate others for their choices. I like good karma in my life.

Good day to you.

Anyone who says he was right for cooperating is missing the point that he should have never pretended to be in a gang for the look in the first place

Wrestle a bear then be surprised when it tries to kill you brehs

The point is, you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. That goes for the people who got snitched on as well. Should have never had the nikka around in the first place. They all lost

Regular people, females, little kids, internet nerds, gays, record label guys, interviewers, etc... having such disdain and hatred for people who snitch is still mind boggling to me, lol. Just because you are part of rap culture doesn't mean you're part of La Cosa Nostra, :russ:, this shyt is just music and you're just a fan of it, yall are not gangsters man.

He should be a wrap musically because his music is terrible...and because of the shyt with the minor, and punching on a woman like she's a man, nothing else should matter.

Out of curiosity are you referring to me? Because I never once said that at all

I do agree that you have to deal with the consequences of your choices, but I’m just not a person to hate someone for those choices they make.
