Regular people, females, little kids, internet nerds, gays, record label guys, interviewers, etc... having such disdain and hatred for people who snitch is still mind boggling to me, lol. Just because you are part of rap culture doesn't mean you're part of La Cosa Nostra, :russ:, this shyt is just music, yall are not gangsters man.

He should be a wrap musically because his music is terrible...and because of the shyt with the minor, nothing else should matter.

I don’t understand the hatred either. I have no dog in this race, but it’s all fun and games until you are the one facing life behind bars.

Tekashi raised a good point about Meek Mill having no problem working for Desiree Perez who is also a known informant. If we are going by street code, everybody associated with Roc Nation should be cancelled. Let us not be hypocrites and try to justify the situation. Desiree’s story has been public since 1994, and the likelihood of the FEDs having her number on speed dial is still very likely.

Out of curiosity are you referring to me? Because I never once said that at all

I do agree that you have to deal with the consequences of your choices, but I’m just not a person to hate someone for those choices they make.

No one specific

I just keep seeing “I would have snitched too if I was him”

When there should never be an IF in the first place. He should have never even been in position for any of that to happen. He put himself there. Only he’s accountable for that.

People are missing that

I mean no disrespect to anyone but in my opinion a lot of people would highly consider being an informant if they are faced with a lengthy prison sentence.

However you reiterate the point I was making which is take away the trolling, the hair etc I see a misguided and lost young man who didn’t have people around him to help him make better choice. He now has to be accountable for those choices and I agree with that. It truly is a cautionary tale.

right

He’s taken zero accountability. He’s still antagonizing people, disrespecting the dead etc. he didn’t learn after being given a second chance

He’s still playing with fire so don’t be surprised when he gets burned. AGAIN.

Out of curiosity did you actually watch the recent interview with the shade room? He addressed all that.

Also if you don’t mind me asking, what is your stance on the fact that Meek Mill and Jay-Z work very closely with a known informant,? If we are going by street code they should both be cancelled right?

Also it appears that Tupac was friendly with Paddy Duke, is there an element of hypocrisy based on the fact that people turn a blind eye when it comes to their favorites?

The “street code” conversation has always been an interesting one

I listened to the interview while multitasking, and it was actually very interesting. He broke down the reason why he cooperated which included being kidnapped and attacked because he sided with his manager who was one half of the gang, his manager engaging in sexual relations with his then girlfriend, and also finding out the manager was stealing from him.

In my opinion this serves as a cautionary tale of how easy it is to be swept up in fame, and not see the people who you thought had your back actually sticking knives into it.

I am not going to judge Tekashi for what he did, and I understand the “street code”, however it’s all fun and games until it actually happens to you. It would be interesting to hear if other people would sacrifice their life for people who were disloyal.

Anyway I like to think of myself as a positive person, so I really do hope that everything works out for Tekashi because when you take away the bravado, the multicolored hair and all the “trolling” what I see, and I could be wrong is a vulnerable, hurt, misguided (albeit smart) young man who unfortunately surrounded himself with people who didn’t have his best interest at heart, and this resulted in unfortunate circumstances.

No need to, I’ve seen his actions. What he says doesn’t matter, we’ve seen him move

And I don’t have an opinion on meek or Jay working with whomever they work with, because I literally don’t care about the snitching shyt

My problem with 69 goes way beyond snitching. Has everything to do with the lack of accountability, the blatant disrespect and mockery of black culture, etc.

I don’t care about him telling. He was always gonna tell.. I mean look at him. The nikkas wearing a pink lacefront

In my opinion that should be the reason for the majority of hatred towards him, and I agree his behavior and choices have been terrible. That isn’t a debatable point.

However it is a little hypocritical of some of the good folk here to base their hatred on the fact that he is an informant, but they turn the blind eye to others.

I just gave my opinion of an unfortunate situation. I didn’t ask anyone to agree with me

This interview he did with the chick is really good. He's a scumbag but he is great at painting pictures with his words and it doesn't seem like he's lying when he tells you his story. Ironically, you would think him being this descriptive of a speaker and so passionate and transparent would reflect in his music...how are you this charismatic and all these other things but you write the world's worst lyrics? :mjlol:

And with that interview, dudes are so p*ssy. Your best friend fukked your baby mother, which understandably made you lose it...that part is understandable... then it also ultimately made you cooperate and beat the brakes off her and all this. Why is the only way you can get revenge for your best friend fukking your girl is to beat up the girl and then run to the cops to handle him and the whole gang? Why not go see him? If my best friend did something with my fiance I'm gonna beat him until he looks like a different person when he gets out the hospital, and kick her and her kid out my house. He really only ratted because he was scared and spiteful, there's no justification for ratting if you're a gangster but his reason is the ultimate p*ssy reason, lol

He wasn't even 18. This is why I kept saying ya'll need to stop letting him get away with that "kid" shyt. He is currently 24 and was 21/22 when he was doing all that dumb shyt. Not only that he had already been arrested and been to jail multiple times prior to that. He was far from a kid who didn't know what he was getting into and what the consequences were. Prior to him even getting with 9trey his moms house got shot up for him fake gangbanging
