They haven't been able to do sell out three straight nights in Tokyo for the G-1 and they've tried it for almost half a decade now. I think selling out Sumo Hall with no card 1 week before KOPW last year made them go "fukk it" and book this shyt

I can see the McMahonisms running wild already. They'll have 2 nights of 35-40k and claim it to be the biggest Tokyo Dome attendance of all time and most successful Wrestle Kingdom ever*

These dudes are gonna kill each other one day in the ring

I remember when I first started watching NJPW I thought Ibushi was some soft boy group kinda character learned real quick he’s one sadistic b*stard

Ospreay would be so much better if he stopped those goofy ass expressions and stopped flipping unnecessarily

One night is for Liger/Juniors, next night is IWGP heavy.

2 days not completely because of greed, but because they're honoring a legend and his legacy to the company.

Awesome main event, the finishing stretch was very restrained, nothing really over the top. All the near falls meant something and there was a bunch of cool moments. That headbutt from Ishii when Naito was on the top Ishii selling by hitting every rope on the way down Give my man a run. Maybe my new favourite of the G1.

Shingo/Mox was decent, getting a little with all the plunder Moxley uses without reprimand though. Really good selling from Shingo, damage to the leg CAN be sold

Moxley/Takagi was dope. You gotta love how Moxley constantly does the bow as a bit of mockery of the Japanese but instead the crowd is like

He went above and beyond. The first couple of steps to run the ropes was damn near always a limp, and he tapped out to a leg based submission. Simple but effective.

Mox is all the way in his bag, right now. It's telling that Seth is on Twitter making a spectacle of himself while Moxley is just out there putting in work though.
