I mean, that can’t be the case because he offered him that initial deal of two years guaranteed with two extra at the end.
I won’t hold you b If we can trade KD for Scottie Barnes and filler/picks I’d be a happy boy. I understand why Toronto probably won’t/shouldn’t do it but it would be a good trade for us

Durant shouldn’t leave this team
Even with Westbrook and Simmons they have enough shooters on this squad to compete for the chip
He’d get 10-15 more touches a game and probably win another MVP
Every other team he’d go to would be completely gutted

Catching my first summer leauge game at work, and of course the Nets are on 
My initial take aways are:
Edwards is nice, but undersized and a bit too volume, but he’s young
Sharpe is a dog but undersized as well, doesn’t space the floor well.
Kessler looks smooth and composed, the game has slowed down for him
We desperately need these kids to grow and develop into serviceable role players because they’re all the young prospect talent we probably gonna have for a while

Spida Mitchell and filler for KD would’ve been nice, but the rookie scale contract bullshyt…They need to find somebody to take Ben off our hands for somebody else that’s young but more proven.

The longer this lingers the more chance we run it back. I think when they all get in the Gym with a healthy Simmons and Harris they all see they got a squad. Especially if TJ Warren is balling. They still need a big and a Pg.

I think we can’t get Sexton without trading Ben. Sexton is a dog though. I remember him dropping 40+ in BK. The knee injury messed him up but he’s gonna get his bag .
