A Singapore cane is about a half inch in diameter and a bit more than a meter long. It is made of rattan cane which is fibrous and solid. The grip is taped with athletic tape and the last third of the striking end is water-soaked. It is an interment of judicial (court imposed) corporal punishment (butt lashing).
