My guess is that he's an easy guy to work with and can get a reaction. Considering how the roster has used the G-1 to over work themselves in the last few years they need as much easy matches as they can get.

He'll always have the 2011 "classic" against Tanahashi, when Korakuen worked it's magic and made it all click
