Agreed, you can tell he's trying to get away from his Culdesac/Camp/"Hipster" sound as much as possible, and it seems forced. I'm still feeling the mixtape though.

Yeah, I guess it's still good, but Childish has been my most played artist over the past year, and when you're used to a certain sound it kind of comes off disappointing when the new mixtape is nothing at all like his old stuff. I'm glad he tried something new, but i think it was too drastic a change.

For people saying that he's switching his style up, he actually switched his **** up before the EP and Culdesac, too. This **** actually has more in common with the Sick Boi/**** Yaselves/Poindexter (much more evolved, of course) music before he did I Am Just A Rapper on the indie tracks and gained that audience, then linked up with Ludovin as a co-producer for Culdesac, EP, and Camp.

yeah, I've tried to listen to that older stuff but his voice was cringe worthy back then. It would be dope if he recorded it all over, with how he sounds now. I'm glad he got away from the Wayne sound cuz alot of people were knocking him for that.
