It makes no sense for the Heat to pay this dude $16 mil to spot up for 3 and grab 6 reb a night. Gortat gives you 13, 10, 2. Bosh gives you 16, 7, 1.

If you are gonna give $16+ mil to a 3rd option he better be doing something other than spotting up for 3 and playing pick and roll D...if you are trying to win a championship that is. And fukk that, when you have paid a guy the max and "the market dictates" he is supposed to get $16+mil coaching is no excuse for him not doing HIS work. Spo tellin him not to grab defense rebounds or protect the basket?

for real..im getting tired of it. i HOPE bosh gets a max and is the #1 or #2 option on a team and averages exactly what he averages now so these clowns can shut up. let him go back to the heat and be their #1 option with an aging wade (if lebron leaves).
No he would put up numbers as a number 1 and his team would make the playoffs occasionally just like in Toronto. However if you are expecting a max level contribution to championships from this guy then you are sadly mistaken. He's a role player on a championship team and the man on a lottery/first round exit team...if he was anything more he would have proven it over the last 4 years.

The Heat don't need the 20 obviously but where is the 10? There is no reason he shouldn't be pulling down 12-15 reb a night if were are being honest. The Heat have plenty of perimeter guys the area where they are lacking and have always lacked is inside. If a PF is getting max money or anywhere near it and thusly limiting your ability to bring guys in to do the dirty work then there is no excuse for him not doing so himself, period.
