he would not put up the same numbers he did in toronto. hes not the same player, hes not as quick or as tough either.

He wouldn't put up 3rd option numbers either though. Bosh could get you 20+ on a bad to average team easy. It does seem as if he as all but given up on grabbing boards though. Regardless no team is gonna give this dude the max over the next 4/5 years and look back on it like ":ehh: that was a good investment" except maybe Houston.

The Heat don't need the 20 obviously but where is the 10? There is no reason he shouldn't be pulling down 12-15 reb a night if were are being honest. The Heat have plenty of perimeter guys the area where they are lacking and have always lacked is inside. If a PF is getting max money or anywhere near it and thusly limiting your ability to bring guys in to do the dirty work then there is no excuse for him not doing so himself, period.

What your asking out of Bosh is just not his game..he just not a dirty work player

I agree with you and what your saying...

They just like running the offense thru Bron..

20/7 for two years or so then inevitable trade or demotion to a different option. he might put up worse numbers if he went to houston than in miami though

http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2014/7/...free-agent-rumors-nba-miami-heat-max-contract

Bosh possibly going to the Rockets (or to the Lakers or Mavs) proves why the notion of Bosh taking a $10 million pay cut to stay in Miami was never realistic. With the Bulls, Rockets, Mavs, Lakers, Cavs, Suns and potentially others chasing James, Anthony or both, there are more teams than there are LeBrons and Melos (only one of each). Once James and Anthony have made a decision, the teams that lost out will be lining up to create a market for Bosh.

Thus, with James waiting for Heat president Pat Riley to revamp the roster and with Dwyane Wade leaving $42 million on the table at age 32, Bosh is the member of the Big Three most likely to break away. Multiple league sources say there will be a close-to-max market for Bosh if Anthony and James stay with their respective teams. One of those people, an executive with a rival team, said the growing belief around the league is that Bosh would prefer a four-year max deal with another team to a discounted longer deal with Miami.

Any deal that Bosh and LeBron sign to stay in Miami would likely be very similar to their last ones, which included early termination provisions after the first three years. So, if James does return and Bosh agrees to take less in the first couple of years of a new contract, he’ll have the option of either collecting the rest near the end of it, or simply opting out to secure a more lucrative deal when that time comes.

Bosh has said more than once that he doesn’t want to leave Miami. But if the unexpected happens, and LeBron bolts in free agency, it would be easy to see Bosh doing the same — for max money, and without having to deal with the decision of whether or not to take a discount.

2014 Lakers Roster lookin' like:

Marshall
Kobe
Melo
Bosh
Gasol

And Kobe ain't have to give up sh*t or leave the city

Yeah but he would be more valuable to them. He and Dwight compliment each other on both ends. If both teams were thinking they woulda pulled a Bosh for Asik swap.

In that case what does the market dictate that Bron should get? He sure isn't gonna get it though is he? I don't care about the market I am speaking purely on what makes sense. It makes no sense for the Heat to pay this dude $16 mil to spot up for 3 and grab 6 reb a night. Gortat gives you 13, 10, 2. Bosh gives you 16, 7, 1. :mjlol: at cats constantly referencing him as if Bosh is so much better. And don't tell me about Bron or 3rd options because he actually has Gortat beat in the one area that should impact (scoring). If you are gonna give $16+ mil to a 3rd option he better be doing something other than spotting up for 3 and playing pick and roll D...if you are trying to win a championship that is. If you are all about following the market then go ahead. :heh:

:what: this how I know most of you nikkas don't know shyt. You put Bosh on the Wizards and he back to averaging 24 and 10

Wiz have two young studs in the backcourt :usure: they would run their O through a 4 that doesnt wanna post? Would he have gotten them over the hump against Indy? Heat still beat the Pacers and put up a better fight against SA with Gortat and cap space.

Bosh ain't averaging 24/10 on an already good team. He averaged 24ppg once in his career so why nikkaz confident that he can average that in his 12th season?
