Before predicting his future in the NBA, let's hope that he will be able to walk normally when he gets older.

He went from 6'6 to 7'0 in few months. He might keep growing which could affect his health.

Waiting for the "Get in the paint" critiquing
And it would be a legit critique
Dude made no effort to post opponents "too small" to guard him

He's only in 8th grade, doesn't have the coordination for the post yet.
:why:
there are young nikkas not in high school with great handle. Clearly eye, hand and foot coordination are good. What is stopping this dude from putting in more time into a post game rather than his jump shot? the popularity of the long 2 & 3-point for big men in the NBA plays a role

He's 7 feet tall, when you're that tall just having coordination is looked at like an accomplishment. Considering his age and height and how he looks in the video, he clearly doesn't have the coordination to play in the post yet. I'm sure there are 6'5" HS centers that could push him out of the paint because he's so skinny and so young, how you gonna work on a post game when you gotta take your hook shot from 15 feet out :russ:

But that awkwardness comes about due to lack of practice also, not just puberty. He has too much comfort facing the basket and shooting jumpshots, which came from practice
I agree he skinny as fawk, but sheeeeiiiiitttt if that hook shot wet, then a mixture of Yao and Kareem post moves would be devastating

:mindblown: @ all these 6'9"+ kids that are coordinated with face up skills.

The average 6'7"-6'9" kid when I was in high school was a lumbering oaf who couldn't catch the ball, dribble without looking down, or run without getting winded. It was only like 10 across the nation that could put in work. Now each state has like a handful of these 6'9" kids

Here's our local 6'11" kid Ivan Rabb. He's overrated though, his game hasn't really progressed from freshman year.
