A lot leave the city too. Poorer brehs getting priced out and some folks just flat out moving away just cuz maybe the lifestyle ain't for them or maybe they can't focus. If you got money you move to D.C., if you trying to get there you go to Texas or NC. I did that same demo myself. It's becoming more of a thing in the city.

This. Carolina got all the hood NY nikkas now. We got a lot of transplants from that way in my city, but they more high class. I noticed when I was in Carolina that most of the NY transplants was ratchet AF. Like that old school NY ratchet, ultra aggressive, chipped teeth, timbs in the summer with shorts type shyt. We don't get those types in the A. :mjlol:

NC got too many old NY heads bragging about the old era. And they stay in drama with the natives.

Nyc especially Brooklyn was always a Borough in Flux. It's always been a place where new migrants whether foreign or domestic came, get their money up and then leave for the burbs or even other cities and states. It's nothing new. Every neighborhood from brighton beach to bay ridge to williamsburg experiences this. Brighton which use to be mainly russian and jewish before that is becoming mainly Muslim from central Asia. It's no different for blacks. ENY, brownsville, carnarsie, crown heights, flatbush, bed stuy use to have some other group of people before us who moved on cause of opportunities or change of pace and some of us are choosing to do the same. Of course there are hold outs the city overall have 2+ million of us and that ain't changing anytime soon cause for every AA or 2nd or 3rd generation west indian that leaves the city is being replaced by another black migrant from oversees or elsewhere in the states.

The current 4 roommates per apartment hipsters would do the same once they grow up, decide to have kids and Brooklyn loses it charm and edge.

The suburbs
That's the thing.
This isn't the case.
Wealthy Whites are moving to "cultural areas" because they tend to be cheap, and interesting, not to weed Black people out. Black people in these areas tend to be poor, and get weeded out economically. Happens in every major urban area. They've not pushing out by colour, but by economic status, the two make-up an implicit superstructure.
Poor Black people are getting pushed out of ATL and DC by Black people with more money.
No, white people moving into Brooklyn don't want to live in a 90% black neighborhood.

They want to take it over.

Didn't read this entire thread, but Bklyn brownstone owners basically hit the lottery. They bought them for 40k in the 80's and now selling for 1.4m. Why wouldn't they sell and retire in peace:yeshrug:

Or renting those narrow 1 bdroom apartments out for 1800 a month. :takedat:

The ppl complaining are the ones who didn't buy in when they had a chance. They worried about losing that rent controlled pre war 3bedroom apt.:dame:

I bolded and underlined the more important part of your post

You don't live here

Please don't speak on things that you don't know
nikka my girlfriend and large portions of my family live there, I'm there monthly.
Either point out where I'm incorrect, because I have numbers as well as anecdotes, or stop this "you have to live here to understand" nonsense.

Your entire post was incorrect. Just stop smh

I live in literally the dead center of the city

Little Five Points(Eastside) is being gentrified

Downtown by the new dome being built is being gentrified

Buckhead and midtown were already mostly white people

Just do your googles cuz clearly you don't observe what's happening in the city when you're here

The foreigners coming in aren't the issue. It's these wack ass midwesterners and swagless rich people that killed the city.
