Real estate never goes out of style especially in the right location.

I do not see why any of folks would ever want to move to places like NYC or the Bay Area in Cali.

Those prices would outweigh the reward for me, I don't give a shyt about no night life and that kinda shyt. I'd have to be making in the 6 dang near 7 figure range to justify that kinda move.

For most people, you're right. But when you have tech companies in the bay or finance companies in NYC paying $200k,$300k,$400k salaries that aren't very common outside of those cities, it can be worth it. Especially if you dont have kids.

I'd have to be making on the upper end of that to justify that standard of living.

Where I am that's a mortgage on a decent home.

300K-400K will get you a 3 car garage 4-5 bedroom type shindig.
