Nah, if your opinion is that immigrants are more likely to commit crime than citizens...we have the numbers and you're wrong. Once we do the "opinions can't ever be wrong" ish, people use that to create debates around topics that have been resolved sometimes for long periods of time (ie: Jordan Peterson's can women and men share a workplace diatribe).
I agree with everything you said. I think that people are excessively sensitive in the current climate but the majority of people who complain about political correctness are complaining about not being able to have their false beliefs challenged or be chided for having closed-minded perspectives.

young kids (college students) who engage in this shyt i don't blame as much as the OGs who should know better.

there is an entire generation of kids who are being preprogrammed as kids to believe that anyone who disagrees with you isn't deserving of any platform, and that disagreement means you don't believe they (the protesting party) have a place in society.

this is absolutely true, but this is nothing new. eventually things will dial back to a more rational space. same thing that happened in early 90s with the original "pc" debate.
