Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officers seized 732 pounds of cocaine at the Port of Norfolk on December 20. It's the biggest cocaine seizure in the port's history.
Officers were conducting shipping container inspections when they discovered the drugs concealed in cans of fruit juice. The cocaine hidden inside the 20-foot container originated from Trinidad Tobago and was destined for New York.
CBP says the narcotics have an estimated street value of about $100 million.
No arrests have been made at this time.
