For all the complaints men and women have about one another, the reality is that we just need to work on ourselves.

To be clear: relationships are hard. There is no denying that.

But a lot of you need to focus on taking the most immediate next step.
Not theorizing about what might happen at the 200th step.

Get in shape.
Wear decent-fitting clothes.
Say hello.

Everyone is weird as shyt. Everyone has quirks.
People are all worried about cheating and kids and makeup and surgery and what job someone has or what car they drive or if they're out for clout and a million other things.

If you just look alright and present yourself well, you're gonna meet people and you're gonna get laid.

Relationships will still be hard and issues will arise.
But at least you won't complain as much or be so bitter.

You all saw The Shawshank Redemption.
Salvation lies within.

I agree.

Women need to embrace accountability while men need to understand the concept of responsibility.

However, communication is also very important.

No.
Shut up.
You don’t have the answers.

”Relationships“ are easy - people are hard.

Most people suck, and you won’t like them. And they won’t like you either.

You can (and will) “work on yourself” all your life - but other people won’t know or care unless
they saw what you were before you “did the work”. And even then, that doesn’t guarantee anybody
liking you enough to engage in any kind of relationship.

No person can really guarantee you anything like that.
It doesn’t say anywhere in The Bible that you have a soulmate, or you deserve love.

”Work on yourself” as its own reward, drink wine, bump some Funkadelic, eat too many shrimps.
All the rest of this chit you can take or leave. Peace.

It won’t take a lot of work to remix this into a Kanye West rant.
