One guarantee I have is you will eat your words...

Most of you either don't read, never took a finance class or are legitimately ignorant about the role of a president.

Most people here were joking when I told them to vote and do whatever it takes to get others to vote. You don't seem to understand what living in a free country affords you.
You all were kidding ..Hillary this and Hillary that without considering the longterm consequences to your own children. Trump was a legit candidate ?

Thank god I'm witnessing this. This will be spectacular to watch from afar
fukk Hilary too.

People still trying to rag on Hillary, but she wasn't going to really be putting you in a hole at least not at this rate - which compounds and gets rougher, faster under the current adminstration.

Although there may still be hurdles, Trump is going to make those hurdles much higher and they'll build off each other.

From an idealistic perspective you can consider them equal, but from the perspective of how they're decisions will affect you everyday, you're an absolute sucker for voting for Trump and still shot your self in the foot for not voting.

This is coming from someone who this won't effect that severely. I already make real solid money and manage it correctly. I may even get another promotion right around the corner.

But thinking about those times I was poor and working on building up my skills, knowledge, craft, and no experience - I don't know if I could have made it with these conditions.

Ask yourselves what kind of people are you relying on?

If you don't have your shyt together by now :wow:

shyt, and we still have 7 more years of this. It hasn't even been a year yet. People really are buying into the assumption that this will wake folks up, but fail to realize people have been sleeping and will continue to sleep.

This bill eliminates the mandate for having to have health insurance.. no more having to pay 700 dollars a year for no insurance.

That's not what you originally implied.

"Obama a bytch ass nikka. He forced everyone to get stupid ass insurance,

Yes. Because every American should have health insurance. Without everyone in the pool, the poor sick and elderly continually get fukd over. Not to mention just about every person will be part of the healthcare system, even if it's only at birth or right before death.

now the fukking white supremacist is like, well, we taking away pre existing conditions and cancer treatment.

WS have been in action before Obama was even born. Also, this was the system in place before the ACA. Why? Because conservative ideology is no safety net and free markets know best. Obama didn't create that.

But you still on the hook for insurance. WTF!

Like you stated. They want to repeal the mandate so there is no penalty for not being insured. Sounds great if your only concern is not paying $ outta your own pocket. Unfortunately, this decision disproportionately hurts the working poor and rural people / healthcare systems.

This is a bill from hell, why would anyone approve it

Because R want to be able to tell their constituents they passed something. Dasit.

I expect the white supremacists to be the worst but nikkas get on my nerves excusing that fukk Obama.

Plenty of people on here legitimately criticize Obama and his policies. However, Trump's bizarre hatred of Obama and wanting to fuk over the US by doing whatever is the opposite of what he thinks Obama would do is not his fault.

He could have fed us.

Every time I ask what Obama should have done (legally) to exclusively help AA, no one answers. It generalities. Please expound if you can.

Even if Trump came and took it all away, we would have enough to weather the storm.

:childplease:

Now we just fukked like chuck"

:yeshrug:
we'll survive this like every other time they fukd over AA.

It was always capped. And I have zero interest in politics, so I'm not sure if blue is democrat or republican. I live in AZ.

From The Washington Post:

Far less clear is the bill's impact on middle- and working-class households. The trade-off between reducing tax rates but curtailing deductions — such as the amount that homeowners can write off for their mortgage interest payments — means the impact will vary widely from one family to another.

Many Americans who need to take out big loans to buy homes in expensive areas such as New York, Boston and San Francisco could see their taxes go up. The Washington region would be a prime example of the trade-offs. High salaries here at lower tax rates would deliver savings off Internal Revenue Service bills. But high home prices mean home buyers take out big loans. The D.C. region is home to six of the 10 counties where residents take the highest average mortgage deduction.

The GOP bill would also scale back the amount Americans can deduct from their federal bill because of taxes paid to state and local governments. That could punish those who live in states with high income taxes — states that generally are governed by Democrats.

The uneven effects of the legislation — and the possibility that some middle-class Americans could see their tax bills increase — promise to complicate the Republican effort to unify behind the bill. Several powerful lobbying organizations, some long aligned with the GOP, vowed Thursday to fight the proposal.

But for Republicans, the tax push represents possibly their last opportunity to pass a major piece of legislation before campaign season begins for next November's elections, when their majorities in the House and Senate will be challenged.

Yes but the cap was lowered. Reason I asked about where you live is because a $500k+ home is pretty common in the northeast and west coast (the new 500k cap will affect people in those areas)

The question has been asked over and over, but I want to add a constraint.

Where does everything go from here?
Constraint: Do not answer with a "we fight."

Realize this right now - saying "we fight" means you're relying on other people.
The same people who have been sleeping and will continue to sleep (of all races). The same people that got us all into this mess.
You expect them to wake up, but you may be waiting awhile while shyt keeps getting bad for you.

Fact is folks are terrified because the powers that be have military power and can neutralize/destroy domestic rebellion in a heartbeat. They've seen for themselves it and don't want those problems - that's just facts and you know it.

Realistically, what's the next step?

Ah. See I misunderstood. I thought the cap was a lifetime limit on interest deductions, not a cap on the price of the home.

That is indeed bullshyt. Luckily only one of my homes is over $500k.

Both eliminate deductions for interest payments on school loans, moving expenses, theft or loss of valuables, and electric vehicles. The New York Times further details every tax cut and increase in the House bill.
I have used the moving expenses deduction twice. Man, this is going to hurt a lot of people.

The Senate plan also proposes tax cuts on beer, wine, and liquor. The Brookings Institute estimates that will lead to 1,550 more alcohol-related deaths each year. The study found that lower alcohol prices are directly correlated to more purchases and a higher death toll.
smh. Liquor stores on every corner in hood. They want to make sure they don't go anywhere.

Many large corporations confirmed they won't use the tax cuts to create jobs. CEOs of Cisco, Pfizer, and Coca-Cola would instead use the extra cash to pay dividends to shareholders. The CEO of Amgen will use the proceeds to buy back shares of stock. In effect, the business tax cut will boost stock prices, but won't create jobs.
The rich get richer.
