I spent about 1 hour looking for an unbiased article on this tax bill cause of most of the news these days is biased AF.. from what I read it takes tax brackets from 7 to 4 and lowers them from everyone making from $0 dollars to $999,999..

It takes certain deductions away but then increases some like the child tax crefit going from $1000 to $1,600..

One thing it does for the rich is it eliminates the estate tax.. among other rich people shyt like lowering corporate taxes. Short term people will see more money on their checks (including the coli). Long term their will be a budget deficit that will need to be made up in cuts to social services.

Also the $694 tax hit for the ACA will be gone

My mom just said yesterday she's going to start the process to get her social security because she didn't think the system would be around when she hits the full retirement age, she's 62 now. I don't blame her.


I don't think so. She wouldn't have burned the middle class and bulk of her voting base like that. As a politician, she has been taught to "consider" those things before making a move. Trump is straight looking out for himself. He's governs based on what's solely best for him and his businesses.

Social Security is not in trouble, never has been in trouble, and probably never will be in trouble. The problem is Congress keeps "borrowing" from social security funds for other projects. But, we all made fun of Al Gore's SS "lockbox"
