you can't make this stuff up. I don't even mean for this to be a men vs women type of thread, but I want to make this one point:

if this don't show u that women truly don't know what they want, then I don't know what to tell u

that's not saying anything negative about them, just saying the truth of women's nature. They don't know what they want

won't post the full thing here cause of "hoe babble" but you can read it here:

Brit Marling Has Had Enough of Hollywood’s Idea of a ‘Strong Female Lead’

I’ve seen that chicks movies. She writes em herself and doesn’t give herself those generic “strong powerful woman” roles so her criticizing it isn’t too bad.

If you actually read the article she makes good points.

She's arguing that Hollywood's idea of a strong female lead is a female character that acts like a man, or casting a female in a role that would be better suited for a man.

She's right.
:ehh:

We actually reading articles and not forming opinions based on titles in 2020?

Villa Straylight.
She's talking about roles where it is casted as a women but written as a man.

Roles where the woman is only considered strong and powerful because she is doing masculine/manly things such as using hard power.

I imagine this would only be apparent in action films since they're all about hard power no?

So how should a strong female lead be acting then?
