This shyt went amazingly for Sixers, and there was still things about their tank that could've gone better; could've drafted KP, could've traded Noel and Okafor ealier when their values were at their peek, etc. Sometimes teams can't avoid bottoming out, and Hinkie knew it's better to blow it up immediately and flip the spare parts for whatever assets you can get to help rebound with, rather than bottom out slowly and get left with nothing when you do.
