4 years later they are arguably the best young team in the NBA.

I love when the coli talks about "losing culture" like that shyt matters, all that matter is high end talent.

Embiid in 31 games last year changed the culture. All that shyt was trite sports talk. Real sports heads should know the games always been about that premier talent.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
They got lucky with embiid if Cavs didn't find those foot problems there building block would of been jabari, other than that they ain't really done shyt. We don't even know if Fultz or Simmons can shoot past 10 feet but y'all go ahead and crown them. 5 years of pathetic losing ain't a good model and hinkie was anything but a genius. The best player in last years draft was the 13th pick. Giannis was a mid round 1st pick, warriors built there roster without a single top 5 pick. But I'mma let y'all cook and pretend like winning 15 games for years and throwing darts with a prayer is a good strategy. Almost forgot congrats on making the playoffs doe.

The Warriors had 3 lottery picks, don't try and make it seem like they built their team out of late first rounders.

Curry was 7th, Barnes was 7th and Klay was 11th and if you really want to play that what if game, the Wolves with a better GM take Curry so that he doesn't fall to the Warriors rather than drafting two PGs before him.

Getting lucky is the name of the game in the draft, being horrible gets you to the top of the draft where you increase the odds of drafting high end talent and that's what they did. The Cavs don't get LeBron back if they didn't get 1, 1, 1, 4 in the draft too, and the Bucks have a top 2 pick on their team, it just so happens that Giannis ended up better than him.

Paul George and Kawhi were mid-round picks too. But the point is, the best talent in the draft more often than not tends to be in the upper parts of the lottery. It's fact.

I'm not so sure Mitchell will be the best player in this draft. I think he's a very good player just making the most of his opportunity since no one else on that team can create their own shot. I wouldn't be surprised if in the end Tatum, Fultz or Lonzo end up having better careers.

People confuse losing culture with toxic environment. Even when they were trash the Sixers management had a clear plan and it always seemed like the locker room was tight-knit. That’s completely different from say Sacramento or Phoenix

Brett Brown is a really good coach.... just needed the talent. But in 2013-14, everyone realized the staff they had was top notch.

This shyt went amazingly for Sixers, and there was still things about their tank that could've gone better; could've drafted KP, could've traded Noel and Okafor ealier when their values were at their peek, etc. Sometimes teams can't avoid bottoming out, and Hinkie knew it's better to blow it up immediately and flip the spare parts for whatever assets you can get to help rebound with, rather than bottom out slowly and get left with nothing when you do.
