New Day have been carrying the tag team divisions for both shows for months and this is the thanks that they get.

The two most played out divisions by Vince and co. since the the brand split so it makes sense.
The Big Cass-Big Show match was more deserving of the preshow treatment.

I agree but we know Vince wasn't letting a Giant vs Giant match go to the pre-show and the both women's matches are PPV status for the forseeable future.
At Mania they even made the IC title match a pre-show match.
