Ring of Honor is set to run a pair of events in Japan in February 2016, the promotion announced before its television tapings in Philadelphia Friday.
ROH chief operating officer Joe Koff made announcement with the help of ROH ambassador/former owner Cary Silkin, on-air matchmaker Nigel McGuiness. New Japan chairman Naoki Sugabayashi and referee Tiger Hattor were also on hand at the 2300 Arena to commemorate the announcement.
Koff also announced that the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight championship would be defended in Japan for the very first time during these events.
It was also announced that Global Wars in 2016 would not just be confined to Philadelphia and Toronto like it was this year. The joint event between ROH and New Japan will include more cities.
Another major part of the announcement was that New Japan talents would be on Ring of Honor’s anniversary show in February.

Finally home, now I can post some fuller thoughts since im not typing on the phone
Thought it was weird they taped the Pre-Show before the Taping for Next Week even happened. Crowd was still filing in so it must have seemed a bit dead to people who thought it was live.
It was truly neckbeard smark city. There were so few kids there, thats the fewest kids I've ever seen at any WWE event I've attended. You won't see too many crowds like that.
The Taping was fun, things to look out for are the ridiculous Pop Enzo and Cass got, and the disaster that was Eva and Carmella. It was only 5 minutes and I feel for the WWE editing guy who's gotta chop that shyt into something worth showing.
Takeover was a fun show overall: everybody looked good, and the crowd was hot. Match of the night was Sasha/Bayley by far, both in terms of crowd and the actual match. Crowd was close to 50/50 live, maybe 55/45 Sasha, I don't know how it came through on the network. Either way it kept the crowd for the entire match, and that ending, wow.
I'll be at Summerslam as well, its got a lot to live up to. Don't think the crowd will be as hot since you'll get more kids (who just care for Cena) and their parents (who have no idea what's happening)

alright....I'm in more steady quarters. Let's see..Joe vs Corbin...standard match and the crowd was halfway into it. Bliss was looking good during the tag match but the bland cats had good chemistry and the crowd like the Vaudevillains which was expected. Crews had a great reaction but sold too much for the certified goofball nygga he was facing. Kana in sight....BUSINESS HAS FINALLY PICKED UP. It don't get any better, any meaner, and any stiffer than her.
The match of the night was of course was once again Sasha Banks putting on a show with Bayley. Crowd gave Bayley a decent pop..crowd was nuts for Sasha..gave her some heat for being from Boston but it didn't take long for that to subside and they started marking out for her bratty ways and character. She was the star of the match..she brought in on the ground, in the air, sold beautifully, and was crisper in all of her executions. Good finish though that was believable and not a finisher kick out that spits on your intelligence..much like many great Shimmer matches that involve Melissa, Kana, Athena, and Hamada. 4 1/2 stars..interesting to see Sasha get FACE LIKE at the end for the ovation...I was wondering how she was gonna stick around and get some of that well earned post match cheers..they just said fukk it and broke character and did the 4 Horsewomen celebration they've been putting over for a minute.
So for the idiot that was ranting and raving against the Sasha/Nikki match on Monday in that Raw thread....talking about "i don't want to see women" and all of that gay shyt that nygga was happy to spit like he knew what the fukk he was talking about. The difference is that Nikki Bella SUCKS and real workers get ovations. Learn how to recognize what a good worker looks like instead of marking out for some goofball that was given 15 title reigns despite being rejected year after year.
