Closest thing I found to "proof" was an AMA he did on Reddit 5 months ago. He was asked about being legally blind, said yes, but he doesn't wear contacts in the ring. I assume that's why he doesn't really do any suicide dives or really dangerous things in the ring. Hell, Stan Hansen had notoriously bad eyesight and worked for damn near 3 decades.
