final points
  • i thought fox did the WOAT job for a debate. so clearly biased and personal against trump. they criticize him for months about being vague on policy then only ask him gotcha questions the whole time. really disgusted with them. i said earlier i hope trump called them out on it and he did directly and then later indirectly. they promoted this like a boxing fight and went for nothing substantive..they forced trump to be on the defensive and feel interrogated the whole time so i dont blame trump for anything he said or did. they wanted a spectacle and they got it..and hes gonna spin it into being a victim of the media machine and will maintain his support by and large
  • jeb looked like a scared bytch that talked in pretzels the whole night. he even had a Dubya moment when megyn followed up abruptly with him as if "omg its going off script". i think it was about the bloomberg foundation and the 10 million to planned parenthood.
  • walker was an empty suit. hes like the kid in class and stans on here that look and listen to smart people..then pick and choose pieces from all of them that he likes to be safe. the one time he seemed different he seemed liket he biggest HAWK of anyone. he basically said he would restart the military arms race and overt cold war (if that makes sense) with russia. that was the most hawkish thing ive heard anyone say in years
  • rubio was given soft balls and generally did well. hes too scripted though. you could see it in his stumbling in the final statement and some other times. he might get a little bump but nothing substantive. probably gave him a little life though
  • rand was the biggest loser in this one. he got bodied left and right
  • i thought christie did reasonably well actually. some may disagree but he could pick up from disenchanted trump voters at some point. he has a better chance at winning the nomination than a re-election in new jersey lol (both unlikely)
  • biggest winner was kasich. he came out of every single question smelling like roses..even if it wasnt in his home state. the cheers helped his cause. he won

trump getting daps all across the net but nobody in the Fox News focus group had ANYTHING positive to say about him?

according to them it was ALL losses?

Because Trump is not lined up with the Koch brothers. So he is not on Fox's team. It was obvious in the debate the moderators were going hard on him. It may backfire tho. . Some people genuinely like that he does not talk like a polished teleprompter reading politician. He says whats on his mind right or wrong. Or at least appears to do so. :yeshrug:

Trump is a horrible human...but the cat is legit hilarious. Will watch every debate that he's in just for the smugness.

It's a bit deeper than that. The Conservatives view that issue as a problem created by Gov't subsides. In any kind of economic transaction, it doesn't makes sense to charge prices so high that very few people can afford to pay them. But, with the government ready to step in and help whenever tuition is "unaffordable," what incentives is their to change.

Well in that case they can't answer the question. Because although they disagree with the subsidy, they wouldn't agree to wipe away the trillion dollar debt cause it would fly in the face of their whole responsibility shtick. They face a conundrum. Fox News viewers care about God, War, and Taxes. The moderators play to their audience.

A "good impression" doesn't equal a nomination, junior. Carson did NOT give the audience what they wanted. He played too safe. Didn't make any impact whatsoever. Most people forgot he was even on the stage. If you think Carson won based on a closing statement joke, YOU'RE the one swimming in the baby pool, kid. Now get out of here and let the grown men talk politics :camby:
He lost the republican nomination the day he was born. Take your thumb and put it where the sun don't shine big boy.

epic miscalculation by rove and preibus

all they had to do was give him specific policy questions and prove he has no plan. instead they made it excessively personal and ridiculous. they gave him an out to not talk about anything. apparently their angle was to declare war on trump from the get go. it was really absurd. you can even tell how and when they asked those questions..it was as if they were in the moderators' ear like vince mcmahon to michael cole. "oh trump shyt on W's war..quick quick quick go to jeb let him differentiate from W" scusting
