he was deadlier. 24 had everything 8 had with a higher iq, footwork on some whole nother other shyt.Wasn't as athletic or deadlier scoring threat every night. Breh avg damn near 40 for a month in 06
He had a ridiculous speed+strength+vertical combo during those years coupled with a post game and midrange accuracy. nikka was a 2k player on steroids.
The ''down years'' he referred to last night in which he created. At anybody saying they felt bad for the Smush Parker Kobe days,
He pretty much pushed Shaq out of town and wanted to be the man. It was pretty much his choice.
Can someone explain to a newb like myself what the differences are?
I been patiently waiting 9 years for this answer! Just sitting in my rocking chair. Props brehHe wore #8 for his first 10 seasons from 96-97 to 05-06. He wore #24 for his next 10.
Obviously he was more athletic in his younger years as #8. I’m not sure exactly what his prime years were as he had an elite player for very long, but you could say it went from the 00/01 season to maybe, 08/09 or 09/10? Something around that general time frame, so it went through both jersey numbers.
Overall I’d go with 8

His prime was I’d say from 1999-2000 to 2008-09 yeah. He made all nba 1st team from 2010-13, but he clearly wasn’t the same guy physically after 2009. Strangely enough his most efficient season as a scorer was 2012-13. Also his all defensive team nominations while wearing 8 were mostly deserved while the ones he got while wearing 24 came mostly off his reputation.I been patiently waiting 9 years for this answer!
