I do that shyt with a bunch of shows. Got the black sails still sitting and Fargo. And a few other sitcoms. Better to marathon it.
THIS ..
Plus the DVR changed how we watched TV. When I first got my DVR back in like '99 or so,I used to DVR stuff and then watch it right away. Then one month I remember I was so busy that I couldnt do that and then I watch ed like 6 episodes of smallville in a row ... after that I was in Heaven ... no more 1 week of anxiety for the next episode... i'll just wait unitl i get a few saved up then I'll do a mini marathon. I've been doing that ever since.
How we watched TV has changed and the Networks havent caught up yet.. the only thing the networks done was change the start/end times by a minute or two to screw up our recodings.
SYFY does the best IMO when they run a show the entire 13 episode run then change shows.. this makes it almost impossible to do constant dvd marathons...
I really dont understand why they have not tried to change atleast a little bit.. A show like young justice or Avenger EMH can be great but they cancel because of the toys not doing well, like only little kids watch cartoons, like the marvel and DC universe hasnt been around forever, people watched when they were younger and then grew up still a fan especially with the movies coming out, shyt they arent aimed at kids...
They should give every show atleast the whole season to decide if people like it or not. I didnt know Arrow existed before the second season, and its a great show, and I watched other shows on CW and I never really saw them promoting Arrow..
,Then when you do have time the show is on some random hiatus for a few weeks and you have now made time for nothing. The DVR is the greatest compliment to a cable subscription ever, it allows the person who has a job that is needed to pay the cable bill to be able to actually watch what he is paying for.......... And yes marathon watching is the only way I watch tv shows, I hate having to wait until next week or two weeks because its a holiday and now i am off work with nothing to watch due to reruns...
how does it make sense to only be able see the last few episodes
There's no way you can be a regular CW viewer & NOT heard about "Arrow" during the 1st season. Not only was it 1 their most highly anticipated new shows EVER & it was The CW's biggest hit on the network after "The Vampire Diaries" during that season.
