Pretty much this lol. India was used to Outsource pretty much straight forward "maintenance" work. Automation will continue to phase out alot of their roles (Especially QA type stuff).

This is true to a degree, but we're already in the era of "bullshyt jobs", and it'll only get worse
A lot of people have been saying for years that we cannot keep on going in the Western/capitalist view of "progress" for ever, because at one point humans will become of no use from a capitalist point of view. That's what happened when it was decided (by whom?) to put profit and "progress" over human well-being and that humans (and nature, but that's another debate) were considered as "means of production" whose "utility" must be "maximised".
In a capitalist world obsessed by "higher, bigger, faster, cheaper", humans necessarily become irrelevant at some point because we have needs that cannot be supressed.
Admin like me already knew this which is why I never coded even though I can code.
It's ironic... these billionaires still need people to purchase products(can't with no money) unless they want to move to a new paradigm altogther.
By the way there's also an old book called The End of Work. It was also dead on. It said basicall we'll all be working for free or have a barter economy. In a way there are alot of jobs people just enjoy doing and not getting paid ie repairing machines, cooking, organizing events, etc.
On the optimistic side I guess everybody will truly be doing what they love because there will be no pay for it.
