Why exactly is this award or any award taken seriously by anyone. Why does the opinion and taste of a few people mean so much.

The day when artist across the board starts turning their backs on awards, will be one of the best days in the Artistic fields.

I don't know what you're talking about really....Argo is probably going to win Best Picture as it's swept just about every other major award.

And Life of Pie is a much better film than Argo imo.

It's entertaining.

Don't get me wrong i don't like Argo that much and if it wins it wont mean that it's better than i think it is.

I hate them and everything they stand for.

People who don't have the talent, finding a way to make themselves important, because of their money and influence.

These people have and will continue to ruin art.

Wow life of pi is a better book than movie great visuals but dry to me :manny: and what I mean is no best director or best actor nods for affleck . No performance in life of pi is as good as in Argo or django
