WWE has released some pay-per-view sales numbers for their Hell In A Cell PPV in October.

According to WWE, the event headlined by The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar did 87,000 PPV buys. 74% of the sales were international, and 26% were domestic. This number of course does not include viewers who watched the event on the WWE Network.

This is up from the 77,000 buys their Night Of Champions PPV did in September. For comparison, the lowest-selling PPV of the year was Fast Lane with 46,000 buys, and the highest-selling was WrestleMania 31 with 259,000.

Here's a list of WWE's PPV buys so far in 2015:

Royal Rumble – 145,000 buys

Fast Lane – 46,000 buys

WM31 – 259,000 buys

Extreme Rules – 56,000 buys

Payback – 57,000 buys

Money In The Bank – 57,000 buys

Battleground – 80,000 buys

Summerslam – 121,000 buys

Night of Champions – 77,000 buys

Hell in a Cell – 87,000 buys

I feel like they are making more money this way because there are idiots still paying $60 a PPV :mjlol:

A lot of those subscriptions might actually be bars or venues that show the ppvs. Or people that are casual as hell that actually have money to blow.
Honestly, who cares, buys are buys.

Plus they have a Million plus who are subscribed to the network every month at $10, and they are making more off that that, because they don't have to pay all the PPV fees.

I know a dude who still buys the occasional PPV rather than just sub to the Network.

74% of those buys were international so they were likely in places that don't have the network and/or high speed internet.. But yeah paying for the ppvs doesnt make any sense for people who have access to both
