I've been watching a few clips of Batman '89 lately, and it hit me just how many people the Joker killed in this film. Whether it was explicitly onscreen or implicitly offscreen, the body count is ridiculous :lupe::

* Likely killed his plastic surgeon.
* Emptied the clip on his old boss.
* Deep fried that one mob chief.
* And after that, killed the other mob chiefs offscreen (peep the convo he had with the charcoal corpse).
* Killed that fat mob chief in broad daylight.
* Killed over a dozen citizens with the chemical products mixture.
* Killed over 25+ people in that museum with the poison gas.
* Tortured his mistress to the point where she deleted herself.
* Killed at least 50+ people at the parade with poison.

That's damn near over 100 bodies in just a few weeks. :damn:

How much havoc, exactly? Jordan Zakarin of Buzzfeed, being a genius, asked disaster expert Charles Watson and his crew at Watson Technical Consulting andKinetic Analysis Corp. to prepare estimates. Watson's conclusion: Superman's battle killed 129,000 people and injured 1 million, an impact on the scale of the nuclear attack on Nagasaki. It caused $750 billion in physical damage; 9/11, by contrast, caused $55 billion in physical damage. (The damage to Manhattan in "The Avengers" is estimated at around $160 billion.) It adds up to total damage on the order of $2 trillion:
