It was contested, not wide open at all. You have OG Anunoby on you. Any separation you think you have, he will close that gap. If you don't get a switch to have Brunson on you, no need to take that shot

The Pistons were only down 1. Why take that shot. Go straight to the hole. Either you get a layup, or get fouled and you make 2 free throws. Thee end

Those aren't the only options when he drives. He could end up with a tough shot in traffic with the d keying on him and not get a call, or turn the ball over like he did just the possession before. There was nothing wrong with the decision he made. Your just arguing the result. He had OG beat and got the exact shot he wanted besides an open layup. He just missed it. It happens.
